Catalyst Member Projects

Catalyst members Bridget Druken and Alison Marzocchi are investigating co-teaching strategies through a project funded by the Titan EDUCATOR grant. Drs. Druken and Marzocchi are researching their own co-teaching in MATH 303A, a mathematics content course for future elementary teachers.
Catalyst members Alison Marzocchi and Roberto Soto are planning a professional development sequence for CSUF mathematics faculty. Participating faculty will work in a learning community to increase active learning strategies in calculus courses. Drs. Marzocchi and Soto will research the prevalence of active learning before and after the professional development sequence.
